These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrossZero mobile application (the "App"), operated by RM Systems ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use CrossZero. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts to gain a competitive advantage.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, scripts, modified clients, or any tool that grants an unfair advantage
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other players
- Use offensive, illegal, or infringing usernames or chat content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Interfere with servers, matchmaking, or other players' experience
- Sell, trade, or transfer your account
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (usernames, chat messages), but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the App. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
6. Virtual Items and Purchases
- Any in-app currency, cosmetics, or items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms.
- All purchases are final unless required otherwise by law or the relevant store's refund policy.
- We may modify, suspend, or remove virtual items at any time.
7. Matchmaking and Fair Play
ELO ratings, tiers, and matchmaking are subject to ongoing tuning. We may adjust ratings, leaderboards, or match outcomes to correct cheating, abuse, technical errors, or unfair gameplay.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other players or to us. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RM Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RM Systems from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.
12. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services (Google Play, Apple App Store, cloud providers, analytics). We are not responsible for the practices of those third parties.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which RM Systems is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts for any dispute arising out of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
