This Privacy Policy explains how RM Systems ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the CrossZero mobile application (the "App"). By using CrossZero, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
a. Account Information
- Email address (when you create an account or sign in)
- Display name / username
- Profile avatar (generative, selected in-app)
- Authentication identifiers (Google Play Games ID, Sign in with Apple ID, where used)
b. Gameplay Data
- Match history, moves, scores, and outcomes
- ELO rating, tier, win/loss record, win streaks
- Room codes you create or join
- In-game chat messages (where chat is enabled)
c. Device & Technical Data
- Device model, operating system and version
- App version, language, time zone
- IP address (used transiently for matchmaking and abuse prevention)
- Crash logs, performance diagnostics, and error reports
- Advertising identifier (only if ads are shown and where allowed by platform settings)
d. Purchases (if applicable)
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive a transaction confirmation, but never your full payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide matchmaking, multiplayer play, leaderboards, and profile features
- Calculate ELO, tiers, and statistics
- Detect cheating, abuse, and ensure fair play
- Diagnose crashes and improve performance
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Legal Bases (EEA / UK Users)
We process your data under the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the App), legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, improving the App), consent (where required, e.g. analytics or personalised ads), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Google Play Services / Google Play Games — authentication, sign-in
- Apple Game Center / Sign in with Apple — authentication on iOS
- Firebase (Google) — analytics, crash reporting, push notifications
- Cloud hosting — game servers and backend
- Ad networks (if ads are enabled) — may collect advertising identifiers
Each provider has its own privacy policy that governs their processing.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- With service providers strictly to operate the App
- With other players (your username, avatar, ELO, tier are visible during matches and on leaderboards)
- To comply with law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, sale of assets)
6. Data Retention
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or anti-cheat purposes (anonymised match telemetry may be kept indefinitely).
7. Children's Privacy
CrossZero is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at rmsystemsofficial@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, hardened infrastructure) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect the information we hold.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data

You can delete your account directly inside the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or follow the instructions on our Account & Data Deletion page.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated in the App.
